The Last Donnelly StandingB

Blyth Artistic Director, Gil Garratt , displayed his acting talents in this one man show about Robert Donnelly who was not at home when the members of his family were murdered.

He also co-wrote the play with Paul Thompson, originator of six versions of the Donnelly stories. Great production, scenery and lighting effects.

A strong performance by Garratt, but a rather chaotic storyline.
The use of projected scenery and some of the lighting was very effective, but it would have been nice if the spotlight could have found the performer more often.
