Soliciting Temptation

A fascinating two person play that requires two strong actors to have any hope of success. Fortunately, Tarragon had Derek Boyes and Miriam Fernandes who fit the bill perfectly.

Is she a child? is he looking for sex with a child or trying to avoid having sex with a child? is he kidding himself with his rationalization that he is kind to his sexual partners and always tries to ensure their satisfaction? is she kidding herself about her real motives in attempting to seduce and then blackmail him? All of these questions come to mind and are discussed but not answered in this play. It is a very interesting thought piece, well presented.

I liked the fact there was no tidy resolution.
The situation was messy and the actors managed to make both characters understandable, even if not quite sympathetic.
