Miss Caledonia

Melody A. Johnson wrote and performed this charming show about a girl who decides that the way out of her small town is to win a beauty pageant. She sets out to do just that, on the way introducing us to her parents, friends and neighbours.

    Ms. Johnson, and her fiddler, Alison Porter, did a fine job of telling the story of her mother.
    Nevertheless, I became bored, I am afraid.
    I think the fault was mine, though, not Melody Johnson’s.
